in accordance with the agreement signed by russia, belarus and kazakhstan on 18 october 2010 on the common guidelines and rules for the technical specifications of the republic of kazakhstan, the republic of belarus and the russian federation, the customs union commission is committed to developing uniform standards and requirements to ensure product safety, with one certification common to all three countries, resulting in the cu-tr certification of the russia-belarus-kazakhstan customs union. the unified mark is the eac.
in order to make trade between the union countries easier and to avoid technical regulation barriers for products imported and exported within this customs union, the customs union legislation issues a mandatory customs union technical regulation certificate, which is the only proof that a product complies with the customs union technical regulation.
